WaterTower Music will release a soundtrack album for the animated feature The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie. The album features the film’s original music composed by Joshua Moshier (Baskets, The Shrink Next Door, Beneath Us, Looney Tunes Cartoons, Three Busy Debras). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, March 14 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s first two tracks below. The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie is directed by Pete Browngardt and features the voices of Eric Bauza, Candi Milo, Peter MacNicol, Laraine Newman, Wayne Knight and Fred Tatasciore. The Warner Bros. Animation production follows Porky Pig and Daffy Duck as they uncover a secret alien mind control plot and – faced with cosmic odds – are determined to save their town, and the world. The movie, which premiered at last year’s Annecy International Animation Film Festival, opened in several international territories last summer/fall and is being released in U.S. theaters this weekend by Ketchup Entertainment.
