The full details of the second soundtrack album for Marvel’s Netflix original series Luke Cage have been revealed. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s second season composed by Adrian Younge & Ali Shaheed Muhammad, as well as the songs King’s Paradise performed in an episode by Rakim and written by William Griffin, Younge & Muhammad, Love You Forever Right Now performed by Joi who also co-wrote the track with Marlon Cox and Family First co-written and performed by Gabrielle Dennis (Tilda Johnson). Also included are two covers by teen blues guitarist Christone “Kingfish” Ingram. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, June 22 and will be available to download on Amazon.An album featuring the music from the first season was released back in 2016. Luke Cage is developed by Cheo Hodari Coker based on the Marvel Comics character and stars Mike Colter, Mahershala Ali, Alfre Woodard, Simone Missick, Theo Rossi, Frank Whaley and Sônia Braga. Season 2 of the series will premiere tomorrow on Netflix.
