Sacha Galperine and Evgueni Galperine are set to score the upcoming drama Radioactive. The film is directed by Marjane Satrapi (Persepolis, The Voices) and stars Rosamund Pike, Sam Riley, Anya Taylor-Joy, Aneurin Barnard and Simon Russell Beale. The movie charts the scientific and romantic passions of Marie and Pierre Curie, and the transformative effects of the discoveries of the wife and husband team throughout the 20th century. Jack Thorne (Wonder, National Treasure, The Last Panthers) has written the screenplay based on Lauren Redniss’ graphic novel Radioactive: Marie & Pierre Curie: A Tale of Love and Fallout. Tim Bevan & Eric Fellner (Baby Driver, Love Actually) and Paul Webster (Atonement, Anna Karenina) are producing the Working Title production. Radioactive will be distributed in the U.S. by Amazon Studios. No word yet on a release date.

The composers whose previous scoring credits include The Family, The Wizard of Lies and Loveless have also recently composer the HBO original movie Paterno, which premiered earlier this month. They also have the drama The Harvesters (Die Stropers) directed by Etienne Kallos and starring Brent Vermeulen, Juliana Venter and Alex van Dyk coming up.
