Sony Classical will release the official soundtrack album for the BBC and Netflix mini-series Troy: Fall of a City. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Rob (aka Robin Coudert) (Maniac, Horns, Populaire, Every Secret Thing, Amityville: The Awakening). The soundtrack will be released digitally on March 16, 2018 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A CD version is coming out overseas a few weeks later and will be available to order as an import here. Troy: Fall of a City is created by David Farr (The Night Manager, Hanna) and stars Louis Hunter, Hakeem Kae-Kazim, Christian Schoombie, David Gysai, David Threlfall, Lex King, Bella Dayne and Frances O’Connor. The 8-parter retells the story of the 10 year old siege of Troy and focuses on the story’s origins: the judgement of Paris, his scandalous love affair with Helen and and the ill-starred prophecy surrounding his birth. The series premiered last month in the UK on BBC and will debut in the U.S. and other markets later this year on Netflix.
