A soundtrack album has been announced for the indie drama American Folk. The album features the film’s original music composed by folk musicians Joe Purdy & Amber Rubarth, as well as their renditions of classic folk songs and John Prine’s Some Humans Ain’t Human and Jerry Garcia & David Grisman’s Freight Train. The soundtrack will be released digitally and  physically (on CD and vinyl) on January 26, 2018 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon.
