Silva Screen Records has announced a soundtrack album for the natural history docu-series Blue Planet II. The album features the show’s original music composed by Hans Zimmer (Gladiator, The Dark Knight, The Lion King, Inception), Jacob Shea (Planet Earth II) and David Fleming (The Perfect Guy) for Bleeding Fingers Music. The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 29, 2017 (click here to download) and physically on December 1. Blue Planet II presented and narrated by David Attenborough, which is a sequel to the 2001 series Blue Planet, explores the underwater worlds, and was filmed over 4 years with 125 expeditions across 39 countries and 6000 hours of underwater filming. The 7-part series produced by BBC Studios Natural History Unit, BBC America, WDR and France Télévisions in partnership with The Open University will premiere in the UK on BBC One on October 29 and set for a U.S. debut in 2018 on BBC America.
