  1. Sidious says:

    Amazing news, perfect!!!!!!!!!

  2. BB says:

Hallelujah! Before Silvestri than mediocre Henry Jackman

  3. Macejko says:

Silvestri’s score for the first Avengers and his downright annoying main theme for Captain America were even worse than Jackman’s unfocused attempts. Meh.

    • Linkword says:

Awesome news! Silvestri’s theme is absolute perfect…better than anything
from Remote Control Production, you stupid moron!

      • Ds says:

Linkword: do you really, sincerely think Captain America’s theme is better than ANYTHING from Remote Control? This includes all scores by Hans Zimmer, John Powell, Harry Gregson-Williams…

    • BB says:

I agree. But Silvestri had little time to epoch to the score. And Jackman? Civil War was good, but Winter Soldier? A copy of Man of Steel, Inception and other works of Zimmer (in short, unoriginal).

Silvestri has three years to prepare! Three! Then closes the nozzle and accepts it will hurt less!

And you bother with the theme of the Captain? Because I still waste my time with you? Ah! Why to you, a theme with more than two notes and others to follow right?

      • Macejko says:

Any sense, your english doesn’t make. Confused I am, though fucks I give not.

        • BB says:

          accepts it hurts less, sucker

          • Macejko says:

            Oh, about eleven sir.

          • BB says:

you have problem, man. Or rather, you have a hell of a bad taste for soundtracks. Alan Silvestri might not even be at his best, but at least he does not need help writing.

Again, if you think the Captain’s March bad, it’s because for you, a theme with more than two notes is too much for you to follow.

“The theme of Captain America bother” spoke the guy who called the Warcraft score of “epic”. And the Gods of Egypt was what?

            Donkey

          • BB says:

I do not recognize the musical genius promoted by Remote Control!

Before Silvestri, Doyle, Williams, Giacchino, Tyler, Beltrami, than any mediocre composer who the Lazy Hans Zimmer patronizes!

          • Macejko says:

How mirrors can be real if our eyes aren’t real?

  4. Linkword says:

Henry Jackman is talentless and ugly…like you Macejko!

    • Roger says:

either Hans took your wife or you have serious problems

      • Macejko says:

Yes, yes he does, trust me. This fuckface is notorious on a certain czechoslovakian movie database. A seriously troubled individual.

  5. SDH says:

Best news of 2016 by far. If he manages to delivers a score that’s truly his, it’d be an absolute “Hallelujah” for sure. Though I’d take a temp-tracked Silvestri score over RCP any day right now. No I don’t dislike RCP but there is simply too much of them and their style out there at the moment. A breath of fresh air is already overdue.

  6. FERZEN says:

    Amazing news! Thanks God!

  7. bucknasty says:

Should have picked Hans Zimmer. 🙁

  8. Linkword says:

Orchestra music in movies is best choice of producers! Alan will do memorable music! Synth music sounds badly and have no melody! Hans and company…they make shits!!!

  9. Ds says:

For your information, melody and orchestration are 2 totally separate things. You can play the same melody with a piano, a flute, a violin or a synth. Your post is yet another indication that many fans of “traditional sounding” filmmusic are often very narrow minded.

“OMG this music was played on a synth, it is fake music, it has no melody!”

  10. Jake says:

    Don’t care

  11. 78o says:

    I’m extremely disappointed

  12. Bernd-Helmut Heine says:

Good news indeed! Silvestri definitely needs more projects like this to prove that he still got it.

  13. Why is everyone hating on Jackman???? His latest attempt was pretty good…Silvestri is by far the better choice but Civil War was still a great soundtrack.

  14. Tor says:

Even though Jackman’s “Civil War” score was a step in the right direction, I’m overjoyed by this news. Nice to see Silvestri back in the fold.

  15. Robbie says:

Why are we hating at all? My gosh we’re talking about people who create music for film and all we can do is say we hate this and we hate that! What on Earth have we come to?

  16. David says:

Great. The lack of musical consistency is one of the worst things about the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but it’s never too late to start working towards having some.

  17. josias says:

Best film score news of the year indeed (until, of course, they confirm JW on Star Wars VIII). Silvestri wrote two of the best scores for the MCU, including the very best of them (The First Avenger), and he will do a great job on both parts of Infinity War.

  18. Zach says:

@josias Best film news of the year indeed….that is until Vangelis is confirmed for Blade Runner 2. 🙂
