La-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1988 comedy Big Top Pee-Wee directed by Randall Kleiser and starring Paul Reubens, Penelope Ann Miller and Kris Kristofferson. The album features the film’s original music composed by Danny Elfman (Spider-Man, Men in Black, Edward Scissorhands) who previously scored Tim Burton’s Pee Wee’s Big Adventure, including previously unreleased music from the Paramount Pictures production. Also included are a number of unused and alternate cues. The soundtrack will be be available to order the label’s website this coming Tuesday, December 2. The label has also announced the 4-CD set The Danny Elfman Batman Collection, which features the composer’s music from the previously out-of-print deluxe edition soundtracks for Tim Burton’s Batman and Batman Returns.
