Hamburger Records will release a soundtrack album for the biographical drama Grace of Monaco. The album features the film’s original music composed by Christopher Gunning who previously collaborated with the movie’s director Olivier Dahan on La Vie en Rose. Also included are classical pieces by Erik Satie, Jean Sibelius and more. Guillaume Roussel (3 Days to Kill) has composed additional music for the film. The soundtrack will be releasd digitally on May 12, 2014 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Grace of Monaco stars Nicole Kidman as Grace Kelly and Tim Roth as her husband, Prince Rainier III. Frank Langella, Paz Vega, Parker Posey, Derek Jacobi and Milo Ventimiglia are co-starring in the movie, which follows the actress as she is being called upon to save Monaco from a crisis over its standing as a tax haven after it was given six months to reform the nation’s tax laws. The drama will premiere next week at the Cannes Film Festival and is expected to be released in the U.S. by the Weinstein Company.
