  1. Grindledorf says:

Really looking forward to this film. However, as s a film score fan, I am not the least bit interested in these country tunes. Hopefully Relativity will have the common sense to release the score as well. Looking forward to hearing what Furst came up with on this one – loved Dust To Glory.

you can say what you want about country tunes or music – i will tell you this – it’s Keith Urban’s interest and utmost talent that drives this soundtrack, obviously..the musicians who have spent time – years some – giving to this movies soundtrack theme mean more than you may think. As a community they give more than any other genre to military themed projects. And that gives it a bigger footprint of fans. Therin lies the rub. Peace out.

  2. Athena Draven says:

The movie was advertised on television and I swear I heard a Rise Against song play…

  3. Notorious B.O.G says:

I just saw that the score is on iTunes for pre-order. Looks like it’ll be released on Feb 21st also. Hope that helps.

  4. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a huge fan of Keith Urban. Anyone else think it’s odd that an Australian was chosen to compose the lead off song for a movie that promotes the U.S. Navy Seals?

  5. Belinda says:

I lived in Nashville for 2 yrs and now a fan to country music. The country musicians and that area of our country are some of the most patriotic people I’ve ever been around and the experience will forever hold a special place in my heart just like our country does. Keith Urban has lived in the Nashville area most of his adult life and is a wonderful friend to our country. He did an awesome job on the song in this movie and deserved to sing it just like any other artist. As Lisa said: they give more than any other genre to military themed projects. With that said thank you country musicians for all the heart you put into your songs and into our country!!!
