John Frizzell has been hired to score the new teen drama The Secret Circle. The show based on a book by L.J. Smith centers on a young woman who moves to a new town and discovers that not only is she a witch and part of a secret coven, but she’s also the key that will unlock a centuries-old battle of good versus evil. The drama’s cast includes Brittany Robertson, Thomas Dekker, Shelley Hennig, Phoebe Tonkin, Jessica Parker Kennedy, Louis Hunter, Natasha Henstridge and Ashley Crow. Liz Friedlander (Take the Lead) directed the pilot and Kevin Williamson (Scream, The Vampire Diaries) is the showrunner of the series. Frizzell previously scored the writer’s feature directing debut Teaching Mrs. Tingle starring Katie Holmes and Helen Mirren. Among the composer’s other best known credits are Alien: Resurrection, Office Space and most recently, Legion and The Roommate. The Secret Circle is set to debut on September 15, 2011 and will be airing every Thursday night on the CW. For updates on the series, visit the official show website.

I really like the song that was shown at the end of the series: Skin Graph – Silversun Pickups. I tried to download it but have now found out it was a cover version in the show. Could you please publish the name of the artist who covered the song so that it can be found and downloaded. Much appreciated.
P.S. Although the site says this was written at 7:23pm. That is by somewhere in the US’s time. I’m in the UK and it is now 3:25am so please forgive any spelling mistakes.
