‘Rango’ Soundtrack album announced

Anti Records has announced a soundtrack album for Gore Verbinski’s upcoming animated film Rango. The album includes the original score by Hans Zimmer, as well as songs by Los Lobos. Rango centers around a chameleon that aspires to be a swashbuckling hero and finds himself in a Western town plagued by bandits and is forced to literally play the role in order to protect it. The movie’s voice cast includes Johnny Depp, Isla Fisher, Abigail Breslin, Timothy Olyphant, Bill Nighy, Ray Winstone, Ned Beatty and Alfred Molina.
