Film Music Reporter has learned that Deborah Lurie is set to score the upcoming teen comedy Prom. In the movie, a group of teenagers get ready for their high school prom as several intersecting stories unfold as the big dance approaches. The movie starring Aimee Teegarden (Friday Night Lights) is directed by Joe Nussbaum, who previously worked with Lurie on the features Sleepover and Sydney White. Lurie is no stranger to teen movies and recently scored this year’s hit teen romance Dear John starring Channing Tatum and Amanda Seyfried.
