Bear McCreary (Godzilla: King of the Monsters, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, The Walking Dead, 10 Cloverfield Lane) has recently been composing music for the upcoming Disney+ original series Percy Jackson and the Olympians. The Emmy Award-winning composer and members of his Sparks & Shadows team have been recording the show’s score in recent months. The fantasy adventure is based on Disney Hyperion’s best-selling book series by Rick Riordan and stars Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries and Aryan Simhadri. The series tells the story of the titular 12-year-old modern demigod who’s just coming to terms with his newfound divine powers when the sky god Zeus accuses him of stealing his master lightning bolt.
