The details of the soundtrack album for the Icelandic romantic drama Touch have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Högni Egilsson (Under the Tree, Against the Current). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, July 12 by Back Lot Music and will be available to stream/download here. The label has previously released the composer’s love theme (Broken Thread) as a digital single last Friday. Touch is co-written and directed by Baltasar Kormákur and stars Egill Olafsson, Kōki, Masahiro Motoki, Sigurdur Ingvarsson, Yoko Narahashi and Palmi Kormakur. The movie is based on Ólafur Jóhann Ólafsson’s bestselling novel of the same name and tells the story of a widower’s journey to find his first love who disappeared 50 years ago, before his time runs out.

Abide Records will release a soundtrack album for the faith-based dramatic thriller Disciples in the Moonlight. The album features the film’s original music composed by Zachary Horner (Operation Resist). The soundtrack will be released next Friday, July 19 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Disciples in the Moonlight is directed by Brett Varvel and stars Todd Terry, Varvel himself, Josh Strychalski (who also wrote the screenplay, Drew Varvel, Baylee Toney, Myles Clohessy and Levan Smith. The movie is set in a not-too-distant future, in which the Bible has been outlawed in the U.S. and replaced with a government approved bible, and follows a group of seven Christians from Indiana who are asked to smuggle the true Word of God to underground churches in Kentucky, Illinois, and Ohio.

RTI has released a digital version of the soundtrack album for the 2002 British miniseries Doctor Zhivago directed by Giacomo Campiotti and starring Hans Matheson, Keira Knightley, Sam Neill and Kris Marshall. The album features selections of the original music from the 3-part drama composed by Ludovico Einaudi (The Intouchables, The Father, Samba, La Tresse, La petite, This Is England). ‘Stephen’ Soundtrack Released
Dense Truth has released a soundtrack album for the British documentary Stephen. The album features the film’s original score written by music producer, DJ and composer Forest Swords (aka Matthew Barnes) (As Dusk Falls). Stephen is directed by visual artist Melanie Manchot who works with a recovery group in Liverpool who takes up roles in a semi-fictional film-within-a-film that explores addiction and mental health from multiple perspectives. Jerry Goldsmith at ‘The General Electric Theater’ Album CD Release Announced
Intrada Records has announced a CD release of Jerry Goldsmith‘s music composed for the CBS 1950s/60s anthology TV series The General Electric Theater. The composer’s scores, which have previously been available individually as digital EPs, have been newly recorded with the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra and reconstructed and conducted by Leigh Phillips. The music from the following episodes is featured on the album: Hitler’s Secret, The Last Dance, The Committeeman, The Legend That Walks Like a Man, Sarah’s Laughter, My Dark Days and The Bar Mitzvah of Major Orlovsky. Also included is Autumn Love, a suite composed for the CBS music library.
