The movie is directed by Kathryn Bigelow (The Hurt Locker, Point Break) and stars Idris Elba, Rebecca Ferguson, Gabriel Basso, Jared Harris, Anthony Ramos, Tracy Letts, Jonah Hauer-King, Greta Lee, Moses Ingram and Jason Clarke. Netflix Music will release the first soundtrack album for the streamer’s original documentary America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Emmy Award winner Zach Robinson (Cobra Kai, Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, Matlock, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Obliterated, Twisted Metal, Wrestlers, Florida Man). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, June 18 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. ‘La Mante’ Soundtrack Album Released
B Original has released a soundtrack album for the 2017 French limited series La Mante created by Alice Chegaray-Breugnot, Grégoire Demaison & Nicolas Jean, directed by Alexandre Laurent and starring Carole Bouquet, Fred Testot, Pascal Demolon, Frédérique Bel, Manon Azem, Élodie Navarre and Jacques Weber. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by François Liétout (The Bonfire of Destiny, Women at War, Mademoiselle Holmes, Elise’s Secret). Premiering tonight is the National Geographic original documentary series Underdogs narrated by Ryan Reynolds and executive produced by Mark Linfield, Vanessa Berlowitz and Dan Ree. Anna Drubich (Barbarian, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, Fear Street Part 3: 1666, Werewolves Within, Time Cut, Sting) and Martina Eisenreich & Michael Kadelbach (One Trillion Dollars, The Next Level) have provided the original score for the upcoming German Netflix original film Brick. The movie is written and directed by Philip Koch (Picco, Sixty Minutes) and stars Matthias Schweighöfer, Ruby O. Fee, Frederick Lau, Murathan Muslu, Salber Lee Williams, Sira-Anna Faal, Axel Werner and Alexander Beyer. The thriller follows a man and a woman who awake trapped in their apartment behind an impenetrable, futuristic wall which has materialized overnight and must unite with their wary neighbors to get out alive.

Lakeshore Records will release a new soundtrack album for the Netflix original series FUBAR. Jongnic Bontemps (Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, Redfall, My Name Is Pauli Murray, 4400, United Skates, Wedding Season, World’s Best) has composed the original score for the upcoming Netflix original film Madea’s Destination Wedding. The movie is written and directed by Tyler Perry (The Six Triple Eight, For Colored Girls) and stars Perry himself, Cassi Davis Patton, David Mann, Taja V. Simpson, Tamela Mann, Diamond White, Xavier Smalls, Jermaine Harris, Walnette Santiago and Brandon Sutton. The comedy marks the tenth installment in the Madea feature series and follows the title character as she packs her best floral dresses and a whole lot of chaos when the Simmons family heads to the Bahamas for her grandniece’s whirlwind wedding.

Premiering on Wednesday, June 11, is the Netflix original documentary Titan: The OceanGate Disaster directed by Mark Monroe about OceanGate’s Titan tourist submersible that imploded in 2023 on a deep-sea dive to the Titanic. Andrew Skeet (MH370: The Plane That Disappeared, Jerry Springer: Fights, Camera, Action, The Body Next Door) & Nathan Klein (Ludwig, The Beast Within, 101 Dalmatian Street) have composed the film’s original music. The movie, which examines CEO Stockton Rush’s quest to become the next billionaire innovator and the doomed underwater endeavor that called into question the price of ambition in the depths of the ocean, just premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival this week and will be available to stream exclusively on Netflix.
