THR is reporting that Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, The Prince of Egypt, Pocahontas, The Hunchback of Notre Dame) has composed the original music for a new musical film adaptation of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol from Walt Disney Pictures. The movie, entitled Marley, will be directed by Bill Condon (Chicago, Beauty and the Beast, Dreamgirls, Mr. Holmes), and is told through the eyes of Jacob Marley, the deceased business partner of Ebenezer Scrooge.
