A soundtrack album has been released for the British indie comedy Kat and the Band. The album features the songs from the movie by the indie band Some Velvet Morning, as well as Karina Ramage, Stephanie Fraser, Wayne Fullwood and Nina Humphreys. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and Apple Music. Kat and the Band is directed by E.E. Hegarty and stars Ella Hunt, Katherine Kelly, Rufus Hound and Dougie Poynter. The movie centers on a clever, music-obsessed schoolgirl who creates her ultimate side-hustle: managing a struggling band, led by skeptical man, while balancing the average teenage pressures of friendship, school and family.
