Mac Quayle has signed on to score the upcoming FX original limited series American Crime Story. The first season of the show, entitled The People v. O.J. Simpson, is based on the book The Run of His Life: The People v. O.J. Simpson by Jeffrey Toobin and follows the O.J. Simpson trial told from the perspective of the lawyers. The drama’s cast includes Cuba Gooding Jr. as O.J. Simpson, John Travolta, David Schwimmer, Courtney B. Vance as defense attorneys Robert Shapiro, Robert Kardashian as Johnnie Cochran, Sarah Paulson as prosecutor Marcia Clark and Bruce Greenwood as Los Angeles County District Attorney Gil Garcetti. Scott Alexander & Larry Karaszewski (Ed Wood, Big Eyes, The People v. Larry Flynt) have written the scripts.
