M83’s ‘Resurrection’ Soundtrack Released

Believe has released a soundtrack album for the Chinese/French sci-fi drama Resurrection. The album features the film’s original music composed by Anthony Gonzalez as M83 (Oblivion, Knife + Heart, You and the Night). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Also listen to the duo’s title track after the jump. Resurrection is written and directed by Bi Gan and stars Jackson Yee, Shu Qi and Mark Chao. The movie is set in a future where humanity has surrendered its ability to dream in exchange for immortality and tells the story of an outcast who finds illusion, nightmarish visions, and beauty in an intoxicating world of his own making. Hollywood Records will release the official soundtrack album for the comedy Ella McCay. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Hans Zimmer (The Lion KingDune,  InterstellarThe Dark Knight, As Good As It Gets, InceptionGladiator, Pirates of the Caribbean, Man of Steel, Rain Man). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, December 12 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Composer Jordan Seigel (Half Brothers, Lucky Stiff, Popular Theory) is reteaming with writer/director/producer/actor Jay Duplass (Cyrus, Jeff, Who Lives at Home) on the upcoming comedy drama See You When I See You. The film is directed by Duplass and stars Cooper Raiff, David Duchovny, Kaitlyn Dever, Hope Davis, Ariela Barer and Lucy Boynton. The movie is based on Adam Cayton-Holland’s memoir Tragedy Plus Time: A Tragi-Comic Memoir and follows a comedy writer who battles PTSD after the tragic death of his sister. The film is directed by Craig Gillespie (I, Tonya, Cruella) and stars Milly Alcock in the dual role of Supergirl/Kara Zor-El, alongside Matthias Schoenaerts, Eve Ridley, David Krumholtz, Emily Beecham, and Jason Momoa.
