La-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1990 action movie Navy Seals directed by Lewis Teague and starring Charlie Sheen, Michael Biehn, Joanne Whalley-Kilmer, Rick Rossovich, Bill Paxton, Cyril O’Reilly and Dennis Haysbert. The album features the original music from the Orion Pictures production composed and conducted by Sylvester Levay (Hot Shots!, Airwolf, Mannequin, Cobra, Stone Cold). The soundtrack includes the same content as Intrada Records’ 2010 premiere release for its main score presentation, resequenced into chronological order and with a re-creation of the end titles and also features additional bonus mono cues. La-La Land Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1969 western Death of a Gunfighter directed by Robert Totten & Don Siegel and starring Richard Widmark and Lena Horne. The album, which is being released as part of the Universal Pictures Film Music Classics Collection , features the film’s original music composed by Oliver Nelson (Zig Zag, Ironside, Night Gallery, The Six Million Dollar Man). Also included is (premiere release of) the composer’s score for the 1970 adventure drama Skullduggery directed by Gordon Douglas and starring Burt Reynolds and Susan Clark. Intrada Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1990 fantasy horror movie Nightbreed written and directed by Clive Barker and starring Craig Sheffer, Anne Bobby, Charles Haid, David Cronenberg, Hugh Quarshie and Doug Bradley. The 2-CD set features the expanded and complete original score from the film composed by Academy Award nominee Danny Elfman (Spider-Man, Batman, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Alice in Wonderland, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory), including around 30 minutes of previously unreleased music on the first disc, as well as the content of the original 1990 soundtrack album (released by MCA Records) and a suite of alternates on the second disc.
