Milan Records has announced a vinyl edition of the soundtrack album for Avatar Studios’ & Nickelodeon Movies’ animated feature Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender directed by Lauren Montgomery and starring Eric Nam, Dave Bautista, Jessica Matten, Steven Yeun, Román Zaragoza, Ke Huy Quan, Freida Pinto, Dionne Quan, Taika Waititi, Geraldine Viswanathan, Dee Bradley Baker, Ronny Chieng and Ken Jeong. The album featuring the film’s original music composed by Jeremy Zuckerman (Avatar: The Last Airbender & Seven Havens, The Legend of Korra, Scream: The TV Series, Horse Girl, The Playbook, Lucky) will be released as a 2-LP vinyl set (Disc 1 on Translucent Ultraclear vinyl and Disc 2 on Translucent Light Blue vinyl), with a full-color gatefold jacket, on December 11 and now available for pre-order on Amazon. The label has previously released the digital version this past July.

‘The Cat in the Hat’ Soundtrack Album Details
The full details of the soundtrack album for Warner Bros. Pictures Animation’s feature The Cat in the Hat have been revealed. The album features the film’s original score composed by Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout & Dead Reckoning, Black Widow, Bad Boys for Life, Top Gun: Maverick, Black Adam, The LEGO Batman Movie, His Dark Materials, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves). Also included is Fitz & Tim Minchin’s The Cat in the Hat Theme Song & Hilary Duff’s original song CATastrophe (both previously released as digital singles), as well as an arrangement of Taylor Swift’s Shake It Off by Balfe and performed by the USC Trojan Marching Band. The Cat in the Hat is directed by Erica Rivinoja & Alessandro Carlon and features the voice talent of Bill Hader, Xochitl Gomez, Matt Berry, Quinta Brunson, Giancarlo Esposito, America Ferrera, Paula Pell, Bowen Yang, Tiago Martinez and Tituss Burgess. The movie based on Dr. Seuss’ classic book follows the title character as he takes on his toughest assignment yet for the I.I.I.I. (Institute for the Institution of Imagination and Inspiration, LLC): to cheer a pair of siblings struggling with their move to a new town.

Milan Records & Rambling Records will release the official soundtrack album for the Japanese monster movie Godzilla Minus Zero. The album features the film’s original music composed by Naoki Sato (Rurouni Kenshin, Pretty Cure, Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero Masquerade Night, Blood-C, X) who previously scored 2023’s Godzilla Minus One. Quartet Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1976 historical epic Novecento (aka 1900) co-written and directed by Bernardo Bertolucci and starring Robert De Niro, Gérard Depardieu, Dominique Sanda, Francesca Bertini, Stefania Casini, Laura Betti, Ellen Schwiers, Sterling Hayden, Romolo Valli, Alida Valli, Stefania Sandrelli, Donald Sutherland and Burt Lancaster. The album features the newly remastered original score from the film composed by Ennio Morricone (The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, The Mission, Once Upon a Time in the West, Cinema Paradiso, The Hateful Eight, The Thing, The Untouchables).
