Chromium Music Group has released a soundtrack album for Evgeny Afineevsky’s documentary Freedom on Fire: Ukraine’s Fight for Freedom. The album features the film’s original music composed by Jasha Klebe (Our Planet II, Planet Earth II, The Black Godfather, Animal, A Year on Planet Earth) who previously scored Afineevsky’s Academy Award-nominated 2015 feature Winter on Fire: Ukraine’s Fight for Freedom. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Listen to the composer’s opening titles track below. Freedom on Fire: Ukraine’s Fight for Freedom directed by Afineevsky features narration by Helen Mirren and explores why a jubilant day on Kyiv’s Maidan square instigated warfare that has lasted the better part of a decade.
