Available to stream/download now on all major digital music services is Grieved You written by David Charles Marshall Biral, Denzel Baptiste, Rosario Lenzo, Tate McRae & Amy Allen) and performed by Naomi Scott who stars in the film as fictional pop star Skye Riley. The album features the film’s original music composed by Teddy Blass (To Err Is Human: A Patient Safety Documentary, Less Lost). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, September 20 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon (and will also be available on all other major digital music platforms). The Pitch is directed by Mike Eisenberg and takes a unique look at American health care system’s ongoing challenge to embrace the next generation of patient safety. The movie explores how immersive technology like AI and machine learning are finally making waves in medicine with the goal of safer health care.
First Track from Raffertie’s ‘The Substance’ Score Released
Waxwork Records has released the first track from the score for the body horror movie The Substance. Available to stream/download now on most major digital music services is the title track written by the film’s composer Raffertie (The Continental: From the World of John Wick, White Dragon, Zone 414, Bull, One Way). Also listen to the cue after the jump. The Substance is written and directed by Coralie Fargeat and stars Demi Moore, Margaret Qualley, Dennis Quaid, Joseph Balderrama and Hugo Diego Garcia. The movie follows a fading celebrity who decides to use a black market drug, a cell-replicating substance that temporarily creates a younger, better version of herself.
‘Edge of Sanity’ World Premiere Soundtrack Release Announced
Intrada Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1989 slasher movie Edge of Sanity directed by Gérard Kikoïne and starring Anthony Perkins, Glynis Barber and David Lodge. The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by Frédéric Talgorn (Fortress, Delta Force 2, The Temp, Robot Jox) who made his feature scoring debut on the project. Platoon has announced the official soundtrack album for the action comedy Wolfs. The album features the film’s original music composed by Emmy Award winner Theodore Shapiro (Severance, Tropic Thunder, The Devil Wears Prada, Bombshell, Destroyer, Marley & Me, Spy). Expanded Soundtrack Album for Disney’s ‘Dinosaur’ Announced
Intrada Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the Disney’s 2000 animated feature Dinosaur directed by Ralph Zondag & Eric Leighton and starring D. B. Sweeney, Alfre Woodard, Max Casella, Ossie Davis, Samuel E. Wright, Hayden Panettiere and Julianna Margulies. The 2-CD set features the expanded original score from the film composed by Academy Award nominee James Newton Howard (King Kong, The Sixth Sense, The Fugitive, The Hunger Games, Signs, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, The Village, Maleficent), including more than 30 minutes of previously unreleased music, as well as alternate tracks. Walt Disney Records has previously released the original 2000 soundtrack album.
‘Merchant Ivory’ Soundtrack Album Released
Modernist Film & Water Willow Music have released a soundtrack album for the documentary Merchant Ivory. The album features the film’s original score composed by Ryan Homsey. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to a track from the composer’s score (Baptism by Fire) after the jump. Merchant Ivory is produced and directed by Stephen Soucy, in collaboration with AcademyAward-winning director/screenwriter James Ivory, and centers on the Merchant Ivory partnership, anchored by interviews with Ivory and 41 of their close collaborators (including Emma Thompson and Vanessa Redgrave) detailing and celebrating their experiences of being a part of the “wandering company” helmed by legendary producer Ismail Merchant that created classics such as Howard’s End, A Room with a View and The Remains of the Day.
Natalie Jane’s Original Song ‘The Top’ from Netflix Film ‘Uglies’ Released
10K Projects & Capitol Records have released the original song The Top from the Netflix original film Uglies. The track co-written (with David Charles Fischer & Pom Pom) and performed by Natalie Jane is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. ‘Silence of the North’ World Premiere Soundtrack Album Announced
Dragon’s Domain Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the Canadian 1981 drama Silence of the North directed by Allan King and starring Ellen Burstyn of author Olive Frederickson, Tom Skerritt and Gordon Pinsent. The album features the film’s original music composed by Allan Macmillan, as well as additional music by Jerrold Immel (credited as “music adapted and scored by”) (How the West Was Won, Megaforce, Matilda, Dallas, Programmed to Kill). The soundtrack is now available to order as a limited edition CD on the label’s official website, where you can also check out the track list, listen to audio samples and find out more about the release. A digital version is expected to come out in the coming weeks.

Kerry Muzzey (Look & See: A Portrait of Wendell Berry, What Happens Next, BearCity) will release a soundtrack album for the documentary Studio One Forever. The album features the composer’s original score from the film and will be released digitally on October 4 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms. A first track (The Memory Theme) is already available to stream/download now and can be checked out after the jump. Studio One Forever is directed by Marc Saltarelli and centers on the LGBT nightclub in West Hollywood that was founded in the 1970. The movie documents a discotheque and cabaret that welcomed the likes of Bette Davis, Fred Astaire, Cary Grant,Gene Kelly, Elton John, and Chita Rivera, among others.
