Disney+ has announced Voices Rising: The Music of Wakanda Forever, a new documentary series focusing on the music from Marvel Studios’ Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The show centers on the songs and score from the movie and features interview with director Ryan Coogler, composer Ludwig Göransson, among others. Check out the series’ trailer after the jump. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has been Oscar-shortlisted in both the “original score” and “original song” categories for Göransson’s score and the original song Lift Me Up co-written (with Tems, Göransson & Coogler) and performed by Rihanna. Hollywood Records has released a score album featuring Göransson’s score and Roc Nation Records, Def Jam Recordings & Hollywood Records have released a separate soundtrack featuring the songs from the movie. Voices Rising: The Music of Wakanda Forever will premiere on February 22, 2023 on Disney+.
