Robert Ouyang Rusli (Test Pattern, Bruiser) has recently been scoring the upcoming comedy Problemista. The film is written and directed by Julio Torres (Les Espookys) and stars himself, alongside Tilda Swinton, RZA and Isabella Rossellini. The movie revolves around an aspiring toy designer from El Salvador struggling to bring his unusual ideas to life in New York City whose only hope to stay in the country and realize his dream is to take a job assisting an erratic art-world outcast. Emma Stone, Dave McCary (When You Finish Saving the World) and Ali Herting (Bodies Bodies Bodies) are producing the A24 production. Problemista will premiere in March at this year’s SXSW Film Festival and is expected to be released in theaters later this year.
