Jonathan Sanford (National Champions, Teenage Bounty Hunters, Hold Your Fire, Dare Me, Good on Paper) is the composer of the upcoming Apple TV+ original series Dear Edward. The show is developed by Jason Katims (Friday Night Lights, Parenthood) based on Ann Napolitano’s bestselling novel of the same title and stars Colin O’Brien, Connie Britton, Taylor Schilling, Amy Forsyth, Audrey Corsa, Anna Uzele, Brittany S. Hall, Dario Ladani Sanchez, Carter Hudson and Maxwell Jenkins. The drama tells the story of a 12-year-old boy who survives a devastating commercial plane crash that kills every other passenger on the flight, including his family. Katims & Napolitano are also executive producing the Apple Studios production with Jeni Mulein (Away), as well as Fisher Stevens (Stand Up Guys, Palmer) who also directed the first episode. Sanford has previously scored the Katims-created/-produced Amazon original series As We See It. Dear Edward will premiere on February 3, 2023 on Apple TV+.
Sanford is also expected to return the second season of the Peacock series Killing It.
