Daniel Pemberton (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, The Trial of the Chicago 7, King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Birds of Prey, Being the Ricardos, Steve Jobs, Ocean’s 8) is set to return to score the upcoming Netflix original film Enola Holmes 2. The movie is directed by Harry Bradbeer (Fleabag) and stars Millie Bobby Brown, Henry Cavill, Louis Partridge, Helena Bonham Carter, David Thewlis, Susan Wokoma, Adeel Akhtar, Hannah Dodd, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, Abbie Hern, Gabriel Tierney and Serrana Su-Ling Bliss. The sequel follows the title character as she takes on her first case as a detective, but to unravel the mystery of a missing girl, she’ll need help from friends – and brother Sherlock. Jack Thorne (Wonder, The Aeronauts) wrote the screenplay. Mary Parent (The Revenant, Pacific Rim), Alex Garcia (Godzilla vs. Kong, Krampus) and Ali Mendes are producing the project for Legendary Entertainment, alongside Brown and Paige Brown. Pemberton’s score from the original 2020 film was released by Milan Records. Enola Holmes 2 will premiere this year on Netflix.
Pemberton’s other upcoming feature projects include DreamWorks Animation’s The Bad Guys (to be released in U.S. theaters on April 22) and the Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse movies.
