Epic Records will release the original song Here I Am (Singing My Way Home) from the upcoming biographical drama Respect. The track is performed by Jennifer Hudson who stars in the film as Aretha Franklin and co-written by herself, Carole King and Jamie Hartman. The song, which is produced by Black Eyed Peas co-founder will.i.am, will be coming out on all major digital music platforms this Friday, June 18. Blige. The drama will be released in theaters nationwide on August 13 by MGM Studios.
