Big Branch Music has released a soundtrack album for the documentary Landfall. The album features the film’s original music composed by Angélica Negrón (The Condemned, Memories of a Penitent Heart). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. Landfall is directed by Cecilia Aldarondo and chronicles the aftermath of Hurricane Maria and the fraught relationship between the US and Puerto Rico. The movie documents the resilience of a community banding together to rebuild, taking things into their own hands after expectations for help from the mainland dissipated. The documentary premiered at last year’s Tribeca Film Festival and also screened at other film festivals over the last couple of months. No release date has been announced yet.
