Opening in select theaters and virtual cinemas today is the documentary The Reason I Jump directed by Jerry Rothwell. The film’s original music is composed by Nainita Desai (For Sama, American Murder: The Family Next Door, Enslaved, Enemy Within, Telling Lies). Mercury Classics will release a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score on April 16. Opening in select theaters today before premiering on Netflix on January 22 is the drama The White Tiger written and directed by Ramin Bahrani and starring Adarsh Gourav, Rajkummar Rao, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Adarsh Gourav, Mahesh Manjrekar and Vijay Maurya. Danny Bensi & Saunder Jurriaans (Ozark, Boy Erased, The Outsider, The Gift, Enemy, Martha Marcy May Marlene) have composed the film’s original music. Opening in select theaters today before coming out on VOD on Tuesday, January 12 is the action thriller Redemption Day co-written and directed by Hicham Hajji and starring Gary Dourdan, Serinda Swan, Martin Donovan, Ernie Hudson, Samy Naceri and Andy Garcia. The film’s original music is composed by Sacha Chaban (The Vanished, Darkness Falls, Breaking & Entering). No word on a soundtrack release. The movie, which follows a decorated U.S. Marine Captain whose wife is kidnapped by a terrorist group while working in Morocco and forces him back into action for a deadly operation, is being distributed by Saban Films.
