Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Sinéad O’Connor has recorded an original song for the drama Wild Mountain Thyme. The track, entitled I’ll Be Singing, is written by the film’s composer Amelia Warner and director John Patrick Shanley and will be featured in the movie starring Emily Blunt, Jamie Dornan, Jon Hamm, Dearbhla Molloy and Christopher Walken. The movie is based on Shanley’s Broadway play Outside Mullingar and revolves around two obstinate star-crossed lovers whose families are caught up in a feud over a hotly contested patch of land that separates their two farms. O’Connor has previously performed the Golden Globe-nominated song Lay Your Head Down from 2011’s Albert Nobbs. Wild Mountain Thyme film will be released in select theaters and on VOD on December 11, 2020 by Bleecker Street.
