Germaine Franco (Tag, Dora and the Lost City of Gold, Vida, Dope, Little) has composed the original score for the new Netflix original film The Sleepover. The movie is directed by Trish Sie (Pitch Perfect 3) and stars Sadie Stanley, Maxwell Simkins, Ken Marino, Malin Åkerman and Joe Manganiello. The family adventure comedy follows a teen girl and her kid brother who discover that their seemingly normal stay-at-home mom is actually a former high-end thief in the witness protection program. Sarah Rothschild wrote the screenplay. Mickey Liddell (The Grey, Jackie) and Pete Shilaimon (Risen, Megan Leavey) are producing the project for LD Entertainment. The Sleepover will premiere tomorrow, August 21 exclusively on Netflix.
Franco has also recently scored the Netflix original film Work It, which just premiered earlier this month.
