Owen Pallett (Her, The Box, Life) has recently scored the upcoming documentary Spaceship Earth. The film is directed by Matt Wolf (Teenage, Recorder: The Marion Stokes Project) and tells the story of a group of countercultural visionaries who built an enormous replica of earth’s ecosystem called Biosphere 2 in 1991. The movie follows the countercultural collective over half of a century, as they conducted experiments around the globe leading up to Biosphere 2. Wolf is also producing the project with Stacey Reiss (The Perfection, The Eagle Huntress). Spaceship Earth will premiere next week in competition at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival.
