Premiering tonight is the Showtime limited series The Loudest Voice developed by Tom McCarthy & Gabriel Sherman and starring Russell Crowe as Roger Ailes, Naomi Watts, Sienna Miller, Seth MacFarlane, Simon McBurney and Annabelle Wallis. Also premiering tonight is the new Starz original series The Rook developed by Al Blyth & Sam Holcroft based on Daniel O’Malley’s novel of the same title and starring Emma Greenwell, Olivia Munn, Jon Fletcher, Joely Richardson and Adrian Lester. Nathan Barr (True Blood, The Americans, The House with a Clock in Its Walls, Hostel, Cabin Fever) is composing the show’s original score. Premiering on Thursday, July 4, is Culture Shock, the tenth episode of the Hulu anthology series Into the Dark, directed by Gigi Saul Guerrero, written by Efren Hernandez, James Benson & Guerrero and starring Martha Higareda, Richard Cabral, Shawn Ashmore, Barbara Crampton and Creed Bratton. Chase Horseman has composed the music for the Independence Day-themed episode, which follows a young Mexican woman in pursuit of the American Dream, who crosses illegally into the United States, only to find herself in an American nightmare, and will be available to stream exclusively on Hulu.
