Alex Wurman (March of the Penguins, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Talladega Nights, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind) is scoring the upcoming Epix original series Perpetual Grace, LTD. The show created by Steve Conrad (Wonder, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty) & Bruce Terris (Patriot) and stars Ben Kingsley, Jimmi Simpson, Jackie Weaver, Luis Guzman, Damon Herriman, Chris Conrad, Kurtwood Smith, Terry O’Quinn and Hana Mae Lee. The drama centers on a mysterious young grifter who sets his eyes on a paster who uses his religious influence to dupe hundreds of innocent people out of their life savings. Conrad & Terris are also executive producing the MGM Studios production with Todd Black (Fences, The Magnificent Seven), Jason Blumenthal (The Pursuit of Happyness, The Upside) and Steve Tisch (Forrest Gump, The Equalizer). Wurman has previously collaborated with Conrad on the feature The Promotion and the Amazon original series Patriot. Perpetual Grace, LTD will premiere on June 2, 2019 on Epix. Wurman has also recently scored the comedy The Buddy Games. The film marks the directorial debut of actor Josh Duhamel who also stars in the movie alongside Olivia Mann, Nick Swardson, Kevin Dillon, Dax Shepard, Olivia Munn, James Roday, Dan Bakkedahl and WWE ring star Sheamus. The movie centers on a group of thirtysomething friends who reunite to play the Buddy Game — a wild assortment of absurd physical and mental challenges. Duhamel also wrote the screenplay with Jude Weng and Bob Schwartz. Duhamel & Weng are producing the project with Michael Luisi (The Call, Fighting with My Family). The Buddy Games premiered at this year’s Mammoth Film Festival and is expected to be released later this year.
