Ludwig Goransson has won the Grammy Award for his music for Ryan Coogler’s Black Panther in the Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media category. In the Best Song Written For Motion Picture, Television Or Other Visual Media, Lady Gaga, Mark Ronson, Anthony Rossomando & Andrew Wyatt won the award for the song Shallows from Bradley Cooper’s A Star Is Born. In the Best Compilation Soundtrack Album for Visual Media category, the winner was The Greatest Showman, which was released by Atlantic Records.
In addition, in the Best Instrumental Composition category, Terence Blanchard received the Grammy Award for Blut und Boden (Blood and Soil) from his score for Spike Lee’s BlacKkKlansman.
