Danny Mulhern has recently recorded his score for the upcoming drama What They Had. The film is written and directed by Elizabeth Chomko and stars Hilary Swank, Michael Shannon, Blythe Danner, Robert Forster, Taissa Farmiga and Josh Lucas. The movie follows a woman who returns home to Chicago at her brother’s urging to deal with her mother’s Alzheimer’s and her father’s reluctance to let go of their life together. Keith Kjarval (A Single Shot, Rudderless), Bill Holderman (A Walk in the Woods, The Company You Keep), Albert Berger (Little Miss Sunshine, Cold Mountain), Ron Yerxa (Nebraska, Election, Little Children), Alex Saks & Andrew Duncan (The Florida Project) and Tyler Jackson are producing the project. Mulhern recorded his score with the London Contemporary Orchestra. What They Had will premiere next month at the Sundance Film Festival and is set to be released in theaters on March 16, 2018 by Bleecker Street.
