The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is teaming with the Los Angeles Philharmonic to present next year’s nominated scores live in concert. The event is set to take place on February 28, 2018 at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Downtown Los Angeles. Conductor Thomas Wilkins will lead the celebration and the program will include suites and video from each nominated film. The Academy presented its first Oscar concert back in 2014 at UCLA’s Royce Hall. The nominations for the 90th Academy Awards will be announced on January 23, 2018 and the ceremony will be held on Oscar Sunday, March 4 at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood.
