Julian Wass has signed on to score the upcoming HBO original series Animals. The show is created by Phil Matarese and Mike Luciano and revolves around a group of downtrodden creatures – pigeons, rats, bedbugs, etc. – living in New York City. The animated comedy features the voices of Matarese and Luciano, as well as actors including Katie Aselton, Nick Kroll and Rob Corddry. The creators are also executive producing the project with Jay & Mark Duplass (Cyrus, Jeff, Who Lives at Home, Togetherness). Wass has previously scored the Duplass Brothers-directed feature The Do-Deca-Pentathlon and the comedy The Overnight, which they produced. Animals is set to premiere on February 5, 2016 and will every Friday night on HBO. For updates on the series, visit the official movie website.
