Aaron Zigman is currently scoring the upcoming biographical drama I Saw the Light. The film is directed by Marc Abraham (producer of Children of Men, Dawn of the Dead and The Family Man) and stars Tom Hiddleston, Elizabeth Olsen, Bradley Whitford, David Krumholtz, Wrenn Schmidt, Josh Pais, Maddie Hasson and James DuMont. The movie tells the story of country music singer Hank Williams’ rise to fame and sudden death at the age of 29. Abraham has also written the screenplay based on the 1994 book Hank Williams: The Biography by Colin Escott, George Merritt and William MacEwen. Aaron L. Gilbert (A Single Shot, Welcome to Me) is producing the RatPac Entertainment, Bron Studios and Creative Wealth Media Finance production with Abraham, Brett Ratner (Rush Hour, X-Men: The Last Stand, Tower Heist) and music supervisor G. Marq Roswell. Zigman whose previous scoring credits include such films as The Notebook, Bridge to Terabithia, John Q and The Proposal has previously composed the music for Abraham’s 2008 directorial debut Flash of Genius. I Saw the Light is currently in post-production and is expected to premiere later this year.
