Tree Adams has been hired to score the upcoming Lifetime original series Lizzie Borden Chronicles. The show stars Christina Ricci, Clea DuVall, Jonathan Banks, John Heard, Cole Hauser and Jessy Schram. Ricci has previously starred in the title role of the Lifetime original movie Lizzie Borden Took an Ax, which was also scored by Adams. The 8-part series centers on the actual events and people surrounding Lizzie’s life after her controversial acquittal of the double murder of her father and stepmother in 1892. Ricci is also executive producing the Sony Pictures Television production with Judith Verno. Greg Small and Rich Blaney have written the show’s scripts alongside Barbara Nance, Jason Grote and David Simkins. The Lizzie Borden Chronicles is set to premiere on April 5 on Lifetime.
