Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the action adventure Northmen – A Viking Saga. The album features the film’s original music composed by Marcus Trumpp (Mesrine: Killer Instinct & Public Enemy #1, Grizzly, The Woman in Black: Angel of Death). Also included is the song Warriors of the North by Amon Amarth, as well as Monster’s Blood (Gunnar’s Song) performed by actor Darrell D’Silva. The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 13, 2014 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. Northmen is directed by Claudio Fäh and stars Ryan Kwanten, Tom Hopper, Ken Duken, Charlie Murphy, James Norton, Ed Skrein, Anatole Taubman and Johann Hegg. The film follows a gang of predatory Vikings whose escape to Scotland ends in death and destruction. The movie just premiered last week at the Zurich Film Festival and will be released in Germany, Switzerland and Austria in October. No word yet on a domestic release.
