Robert Rodriguez and Carl Thiel have composed the music for the upcoming Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. The movie is directed by Rodriguez & Frank Miller and stars Jessica Alba, Powers Booth, Josh Brolin, Rosario Dawson, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Eva Green, Ray Liotta, Jeremy Piven, Mickey Rourke and Bruce Willis. The film weaves together two of Frank Miller’s classic stories with new tales in which the town’s most hard boiled citizens cross paths with some of its more repulsive inhabitants. Rodriguez is also producing the project with Sergei Bespalov (Chef), Aaron Kaufman, Stephen L’Heureux, Alexander Rodnyansky (Stalingrad) and Mark C. Manuel. The director has previously scored the original Sin City movie with John Debney and Graeme Revell. Thiel has composed the music for Rodriguez’s last couple of features including the last Spy Kids movie, Shorts and Machete Kills. Sin City: A Dame to Kill For is set to be released nationwide on August 22, 2014 by the Weinstein Company. For updates on the film, visit the official movie website.
