Blake Neely has been tapped to score the upcoming ABC drama Resurrection. The show is created by by Aaron Zelman (Damages, The Killing) and stars Omar Epps, Matt Craven, Devin Kelley, Frances Fisher, Kurtwood Smith, Sam Hazeldine, Samaire Armstrong, Mark Hildreth and Landon Gimenez. The series centers on the people of Arcadia, MO, whose lives are forever changed when their deceased loved ones suddenly start to return. Zelman is also executive producing the ABC Studios production with JoAnn Alfano (30 Rock), Dede Gardner & Jeremy Kleiner (World War Z, 12 Years a Slave) and Jon Liebman (Ringer), Brillstein Entertainment and Plan B. The pilot was directed by Charles McDougall. Resurrection is set to premiere on March 9, 2014 and will air every Sunday night on ABC. For updates on the drama, visit the official show website.
Neely is also currently scoring the second season of The CW’s Arrow, as well as the sixth season of the CBS drama The Mentalist. Also coming for the composer is the documentary series The Sixties produced by Tom Hanks.
