22D Music has released a soundtrack album for the animated feature Yugly (Mochy). The album features the film’s original score composed by the Belgian band Puggy (The Son of Bigfoot, Chickenhare and the Hamster of Darkness/Secret of the Groundhog, Bigfoot Family, The Inseparables). Also included is the group’s original song King of the Show in several different versions, including a ballad performed by Saga Franzén. Visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download the soundtrack and also listen to the song and the first score track after the jump. Yugly is directed by Yanis Belaid & Jeremie Degruson and tells the story of the ugliest dog in the world who dreams of achieving the impossible: competing in the prestigious Best in Dog Show and to ultimately find his very own forever family. The nWave Studios premiered at this year’s Annecy International Animation Film Festival and will be released in French theaters this Wednesday, October 14.
