Taiga Sounds has released a soundtrack album for the documentary Fragments of Paradise. The album features the film’s original music composed by Osei Essed (Crater, Saint X, Late Bloomers, Katrina Babies, How to Survive a Pandemic & Saul Simon MacWilliams (Gleason, Chasing Coral, King in the Wilderness, Love, Antosha, Jim: The James Foley Story). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Also listen to the composers’ title track after the jump. Fragments of Paradise is directed by KD Davison and centers on Jonas Mekas, a visionary who dared to seek beauty in the mundane and is hailed as the ‘godfather’ of avant-garde cinema. The movie is crafted from thousands of hours of his personal film diaries and celebrates a cinematic pioneer, featuring Martin Scorsese, John Lennon, Andy Warhol, Jim Jarmusch and other 20th century luminaries. The documentary premiered at the 2022 Venice Film Festival and made its streaming debut last year on Prime Video.
