Sky Music has released a soundtrack album for the Sky original documentary Savage Mountain. The album features the film’s original music composed by Alexandra Hamilton-Ayres (Long Live My Happy Head, Tish, The Oil Machine). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s “pretitles” and end credits tracks after the jump. Savage Mountain is directed by Even Sigstad, produced by Filip Christensen of Field Productions and tells the story behind Kristin Harila’s record-breaking climb of the world’s 14 highest mountains and the controversy that followed. The movie documents the highs and lows of Harila’s journey from a relative newcomer to the multiple world-record holder as she takes on one of the most ambitious challenges in mountaineering history. The documentary is premiering in the UK today on Sky Documentaries and the streaming services NOW.
