440 Hz has released a soundtrack album for the French comedy Comédie-Française (De la Comédie-Française). The album features the film’s original music composed by Clément Ducol (Emilia Perez, Peter Von Kant, Little Tickles, Maestro, Chicken for Linda!, I Wish Someone Were Waiting for Me Somewhere). The soundtrack is now available to stream on Amazon (and most other major digital music services), where you can also check out the track list. Comédie-Française is directed by Bertrand Usclat & Martin Darondeau and stars Pauline Clément, Benjamin Lavernhe, Marina Hands, Julien Frison, Danielle Lebrun, Sefa Yeboah and Laurent Stocker. The movie follows an actress-turned-director who faces every theatermaker’s worst nightmare when disaster strikes just hours before the premiere of her production of Macbeth. The comedy opened in French theaters last Wednesday. No word yet on a domestic release.
