Multi-instrumentalist, artist, music producer and composer Yuli has made her feature scoring debut on the upcoming Netflix original film Don’t Say Good Luck. The movie is directed by Julia Hart (I’m Your Woman, Stargirl) and stars Sunny Sandler, Melanie Lynskey, Max Greenfield, Steve Buscemi, Bebe Neuwirth, Jack Champion, Stephanie Beatriz, Jon Lovitz, Scarlett Estevez and Emma McNulty. Nick Baxter serves as the executive music producer of the coming-of-age dramedy, which follows a teenager who is ready for the spotlight as the lead in her high school musical, until suddenly she’s living with even more drama at home than on the stage. Hart also co-wrote the screenplay with Laura Hankin and Jordon Horowitz (La La Land, The Kids Are Alright) who is also producing the Happy Madison, Original Headquarters & Range production with Adam & Jackie Sandler, Fred Berger (A Complete Unknown, Bad Education) and Brian Kavanagh-Jones (Longlegs, The Monkey). Yuli has previously scored the Prime Video documentary series Murder 101. Don’t Say Good Luck will premiere on August 14, 2026 exclusively on Netflix.
